Most people who travel to a kibbutz have a great time, myself included. OK, the work is hard, sometimes the hours are long -- but it is a great experience, and one that we are lucky to have the opportunity to try.

A lot of people aren't that lucky, so this is an extra page to help them. It is a few links to my favourite good causes; mainly cancer research, animal welfare and the homeless.

This Web site is for anyone who wishes to know more about the charity, about cancer, or how to play a part in curing cancer faster.

With the simple, daily click of the purple "Feed an Animal in Need" button, visitors fund bowls of food for formerly neglected or abused animals now living in shelters or sanctuaries. Visitors pay nothing. Site sponsors pay for all funding.
The Hunger Site focuses the power of the Internet on a specific humanitarian need; the eradication of world hunger. On average, over 220,000 individuals from around the world visit the site each day to click the "give free food" button and help feed the hungry. The staple food funded by The Hunger Site is paid for by site sponsors.
Mercy Ships, a global charity, has operated a growing fleet of hospital ships in developing nations since 1978. They bring hope and healing to the poor, mobilizing people and resources worldwide.
